2009 Tom Raper RV Rally
As you know the Recreational Vehicle industry has been particularly hard hit during our current challenging economic times. Many RV manufacturers are no longer with us, and more still have had to take drastic measures to remain open and building RVs for all of us to enjoy. As many of you know and we have talked about at the Rally, the admission price we charge is just a small percentage of the actual cost. Unfortunately a large part of the Rally expenses have been, and always were picked up by these same Manufacturers due to our ongoing business relationship. In addition, Tom Raper RVs also paid a large amount of the expense out of our own pocket. We were always happy to pass these savings on to you to make your Rally experience less costly and more fun! However now with this support gone, and with the added impact of a large amount of cancellations from Rally goers due to job losses, increased travel costs and budget concerns, we have been faced with the decision to cancel this year’s Tom Raper RV Rally. We truly wish to apologize for any inconvenience this will cause you and your family. We too planned and spent money getting ready for the Rally that we are now unable to recoup. However these are interesting times, and we were left with no other decision but to cancel. We will immediately begin issuing your refunds in the order received - throughout the month of June. In addition, in order to try to make it up to you, you will find coupons for Service, Parts and savings on the purchase of a new RV from our Sales Department. I hope this in some small way makes up for any inconvenience you may experience. In our 45 year history there has never been a better time to buy a new or preowned RV than now. I have even personally instructed my Sales Managers to give even better deals to our Rally family to make up for this action. If you are looking for a new RV, please give us a chance show you how important you are to us.
